About Matthew
With a BA in Physics and over 4 years of tutoring experience, I love helping students dive into condensed matter physics and materials science. My teaching focuses on understanding solids and liquids at a fundamental level. I explain crystal structures, band theory, semiconductors, and superconductivity with real-world examples. I make connections between material properties and technologies like semiconductors, superconductors, and energy devices. My lessons are interactive, using diagrams, experiments, and discussions to clarify concepts. Students gain both conceptual understanding and practical insights. I enjoy exploring electrical, magnetic, and thermal behavior of materials alongside my students. Lessons are tailored to curiosity and engagement. My goal is to make learning materials science inspiring and accessible. Together, we can unlock the mysteries of materials and their technological possibilities.

With an MSc in Physics and 4+ years of tutoring, I specialize in turning intimidating equations into fascinating stories. My lessons are warm, interactive, and built on storytelling that brings ideas to life. I often begin with real-world questions—why do satellites stay in orbit, or why does ice float?
Students learn through visual aids, mini-demonstrations, and lively discussions rather than rote memorization. I connect lessons with history and philosophy to show physics as a discipline that shaped our view of the universe.
Pilot Aspirants get targeted guidance in aerodynamics and applied mechanics, while Olympiad learners practice advanced techniques for problem-solving success.
I aim to make physics accessible and inspiring, so every student leaves with both confidence and curiosity.
