About Aubrey
I bring 9 years of piano teaching experience and a Graduate Diploma in Piano Pedagogy to every lesson. My focus is on helping students connect with music emotionally while building technical skill. Pedal technique, dynamic control, and phrasing are emphasized for expressive playing. Beginners establish a solid foundation, while advanced students refine nuance and interpretation. Sight-reading, repertoire, and theory are incorporated to strengthen overall musicianship. Lessons are supportive, structured, and goal-oriented. Students are encouraged to explore personal expression and musical individuality. Exercises in touch, tone, and articulation reinforce expressive skills.
