My piano teaching approach blends structure with creativity, helping every student build a strong foundation while enjoying the music they play. I integrate **ear training** early on, encouraging students to recognize intervals, harmonies, and rhythms so they connect what they hear to what they play.
I weave in **music theory** in simple, practical ways—showing how chords, scales, and patterns bring pieces to life instead of leaving theory as abstract knowledge. Improvisation and simple composition exercises are introduced to spark creativity, while **performance skills** are nurtured gently through small goals like sharing pieces with family or preparing for recitals.
I adapt lessons to each learner’s pace, offering encouragement to those just discovering piano and providing challenges for those aiming to refine advanced techniques.
