About Ethan
I started composing music 2 years ago and I received a top score on the AP Music Theory and Composition exam. My compositions have been chosen for two separate awards, including one with a scholarship attached. I have played the trombone for 8 years, and along the way taught myself piano, guitar, and bass. I love to share my knowledge of music theory in an analysis and composition context.

Music theory is incredibly interesting, and the more you study it the more depth you begin to see when you read or listen to music. I will help you learn how to analyze a piece of music as you listen to it. If you are a budding composer, I will share my knowledge of harmony to widen your repertoire and make your work sound better. I am also willing to give feedback on a composition or arrangement.
