About Claire

When we work together in singing lessons, you’ll experience more than just voice training — you’ll find a space to grow artistically and personally. I offer lessons that are built around your musical goals, your personality, and your pace. No two singers are the same, and I approach teaching with that in mind. Whether you’re just beginning or have years of singing experience, I’ll help you develop strong technique while also supporting your emotional connection to the music. We’ll work on breath support, pitch control, vocal tone, and stylistic nuance — all through songs you love. Each lesson is adapted to what you need that day, whether that’s a breakthrough in range, a confidence boost, or simply enjoying the process of making music. I use visual imagery, movement, games, and storytelling to make vocal concepts click and bring songs to life. I also believe that practice should feel manageable, not overwhelming — so I’ll help you set up easy, flexible routines that support steady progress. If you’re working toward a performance, we’ll focus on interpretation and stage presence. If you’re singing for fun, we’ll explore freely and creatively. You’ll leave each lesson feeling heard, understood, and supported — with tools that help you sing with more freedom and joy, both inside and outside of the lesson space.

About the lesson

Singing is an extension of who we are. That’s why I use a personalized teaching approach grounded in Communication, Creativity, Cultural Sensitivity, and Accountability to help each student develop their authentic voice.

In every session, Communication is key. I take time to understand your goals—whether it’s building confidence, preparing for an audition, or mastering vocal control. I create a space where questions are encouraged, and feedback is given clearly and respectfully. Every voice is different, and we’ll work together to find what makes yours unique.

Creativity is the heart of my lessons. I believe learning should be as expressive as singing itself. I use role-play, emotional connection, and musical imagery to help you sing with intention. Instead of repeating scales alone, we’ll shape stories through melody and emotion.

With Cultural Sensitivity, we broaden our understanding of music. From jazz to Latin rhythms, folk songs to K-pop, I help students respect and engage with music from diverse traditions. We explore pronunciation, musical roots, and the emotional significance behind each piece to perform it with authenticity.

Accountability keeps our progress on track. We’ll set goals, build routines, and measure growth through tangible outcomes like recorded performances or skill milestones. I gently challenge students to push their limits while respecting their pace.

In addition to vocal work, I also offer training in song interpretation, vocal health, mic technique, and stylistic adaptation. My approach ensures that each student doesn’t just sing well—but sings with confidence, clarity, and soul.
