About Thalia
I have over 5 years of experience as a singing tutor and hold a Bachelor of Arts in Ethnomusicology, specializing in Vocal Traditions. I’m passionate about vocal arrangement, harmony stacking, and creating lush vocal textures that bring songs to life—whether in group singing or multi-tracked recordings. I teach a wide variety of styles, including A Cappella, Pop, Gospel, and R&B, with a strong focus on vocal blending, counter-melodies, and arranging techniques. My lessons also cover production skills to help students understand how their voices fit into a final mix. I work with school students, college learners, and aspiring professionals, tailoring each session to their goals and skill levels. Improvisation, composition, music history, and music technology are areas I enjoy incorporating into lessons to deepen musical understanding. I believe singing is not only about hitting notes but telling a story together through harmonies. My teaching style is supportive and encouraging, designed to inspire confidence and creativity.
