About Maxime
I'm a 3rd year university student doing a BSc and studied French at 2nd year level at UCT. I think that having fun while learning is as important as actually learning or you'll never want to continue! I'm a relaxed tutor and won't hold mistakes against you but do expect a level of respect from you (which would be mutual!) I want this to be something you look forward to, not something you shy away from and I'll do my best to be that for you!

Hey! I love language and my goal within these lessons is to help you love language too. Language itself can be a huge obstacle to this goal though, French especially has lots of finicky rules and conjugations to get through, and this can be demoralising. I am a linguistics and language-lover fluent in Afrikaans, English and French. I'm open to teaching anyone from total beginners up to B1 level speakers. I am a C1 speaker and focus a lot on practical work, so expect to speak!
