About Tatum Orsini
I’m a singing tutor with over five years of experience and a Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) in Vocal Performance. I specialise in working with adult beginners, hobbyists, and those returning to singing after a long break. Whether you're preparing for a community choir, karaoke night, or just singing for fun, I create a low-pressure, encouraging space where you can explore your voice without fear. My lessons focus on breathwork, vocal relaxation, posture, and mindfulness in music. I help you find comfort and control in your sound, all while developing a warm, expressive tone. I also work across genres like Jazz, Folk, Blues, and Contemporary Adult, tailoring each session to your musical interests. I believe singing is not just a skill—it’s a form of self-care, creativity, and personal expression. Many of my students find renewed confidence and joy through music. You don’t need to be a professional to enjoy your voice.

My teaching approach is centred on helping you discover and enhance your unique vocal timbre. I focus on vocal resonance, projection, and tone shaping to help your voice sound full and expressive. You’ll learn how to master different vocal qualities, including belting, head voice, and mixed voice, through guided exercises and clear demonstrations. I work especially well with The Soloist in Training and The Adult Beginner. Whether you're preparing for performances or just starting your vocal journey, I tailor each lesson to your voice, your goals, and your pace. We’ll explore what makes your voice special and how to bring it out with control and confidence. My lessons combine vocal technique with musical expression. You’ll strengthen your breath support, learn how to sing with ease, and gain a better understanding of how your voice works. We’ll use both contemporary and classic vocal material to apply the techniques in real songs.
