I focus my lens on Paulo Freire's belief that in order to read the word one must first read their world. I take the time to learn not only about my students goals, but who they are and where they come from. The integration of self is essential in the pursuit of lifelong learning & skill building.
My services are mainly for middle & high school level students looking to build their critical literacy skills, though I do also have experience as a literacy tutor for children ages 4-7.
