About Yaniel
My name is Yaniel, and I am a bilingual Rutgers University political science student and international relations major with a strong background in leadership, public speaking, and mentoring. As a youth leader, former student body president, Air Force JROTC Commander, and in various other positions, I’ve guided students in building skills, confidence, and discipline. I bring that same energy into tutoring by making lessons clear, encouraging, and goal-focused. Students can trust that I will challenge them to grow while creating a supportive environment where they feel comfortable learning.

My lessons are personalized, interactive, and designed to make English practical and engaging. I focus on building fluency through conversation, strengthening grammar with real examples, and boosting confidence with consistent practice. A typical session includes a short warm-up activity, guided practice on reading or writing, and conversation tailored to the student’s goals.
What sets me apart is my ability to connect with students as both a mentor and a teacher — drawing from my leadership experience to motivate learners and help them see progress quickly.
