About Anastasia

My name is Anastasia, I am 23 years old, I have a dual nationality (French and English) and live between Belgium and Portugal. I have been giving lessons through 'Superprof' for the past 4 years teaching at various levels. I am the oldest sibling to my 3 younger brothers and have helped them with their homework for many years as well. I am fluent in French and English as I grew up with both languages and would love to help if possible. I am very active, I play football, enjoy hiking and running. My passion lies within regenerative agriculture and agro-forestry.

About the lesson

My teaching method is adjusted to each student's needs. In the past four years, I have helped students prepare for their language exams and also those who wanted to focus on conversation. I would be delighted to assist you in your learning no matter your level. I enjoy using visual resources such as pictures, videos and texts as well as the use of interactive tools such as playing games and inventing dialogues. When it is necessary, I teach the 'boring basics' such as conjugation, grammar, sentence structures, etc for which I use short exercises and explain the rules. I believe that learning a new language simply starts by being immersed into it. This is why my lessons are mainly in the target language. On top of that, I usually send videos/audios for the student to watch/listen on their own time. Let's learn French together!

Perfect! Anastasia is very friendly, fun and has been a great help to my 15 year old daughter's French GCSE.
Then COVID-19 came and GCSE's were cancelled.
:(
But my daughter valued Anastasia's tutoring so much we are keeping going via Skype - and concentrating on conversational French. Merci Anastasia.
