About Rebecca

Hello, my name is Rebecca and I specialise in helping business professionals gain confidence using English as their second language. I’m a native British English speaker, who lives and operates every day in a different language. And I understand first hand some of the challenges that you experience. I know how difficult it is to keep pace, think quickly in a different language and feel confident doing it. And how frustrating it can be to not be as good at speaking English as you are at your job. I've worked for 20 years with leaders in businesses at a senior level, in human resources and professional development. I now work as a leadership coach helping people feel confident at work. My focus is on practical language skills that you can use in work every day. Because being good on paper simply doesn't count.

About the lesson

My name is Rebecca and I specialise in helping business professionals gain confidence using English as their second language. My focus is on practical language skills that you can use in work every day. I work closely with corporate leaders and tailor language learning to fit the unique challenges that you are facing. I’m a native British English speaker and have worked for 20 years with leaders in businesses at a senior level, in human resources and professional development. And I understand some of the challenges and situations that you will find yourself in. I have more than three years of experience teaching business English with Berlitz Languages. In our lessons (50 minutes), we’ll practise different situations, talk about challenges in work and I’ll help you expand your vocabulary. We'll practise conversations so that you are confident when you need to have them at work. We’ll improve your English proficiency and boost confidence in your professional interactions. With experience across various industries, from technology to hospitality, I have a deep understanding of the specific language hurdles professionals face. My goal is simple: to help you feel good speaking English at work and to help you speak good English at work. I look forward to meeting you.
