About Emma
I am a Classical Studies student at the University of Edinburgh with a love of literature and Classics in particular. I got the English and Classics prizes at A level and achieved an A*A*A in English Literature, History, and Classics. I am currently in the secretary and vice-president positions on the University of Edinburgh’s Pride Society. Additionally, I work as a part-time barista and bartender for the student union. My external interests lie in gardening, dance, and music. I have achieved both a grade 5 in piano and grade 3 in alto saxophone.

Together we will dissect the texts of your course and we will focus on exam technique to achieve the highest grade. While the focus will be on exams I aim to make my lessons as enjoyable for all my students as I believe English is a truly enriching subject. The first lesson will be a diagnostic to see how you are getting on with the course. Then we will have lessons to review material and potentially introduce new techniques or content to perfect essays.
