About Iggy

Hi there! I’m a teacher who loves creativity, learning, and having fun. In class, I enjoy helping students grow as writers, readers, and thinkers. Outside of school, you’ll probably find me writing stories ️, playing creative video games like Minecraft, or getting lost in a good sci-fi or fantasy book. I love dancing to music, spending time with my family ️, and going on adventures with my silly dog, Crouton. Whether it’s building new worlds in games, writing exciting stories ️, or learning something new, I’m always looking for ways to spark creativity and have fun! I can’t wait to learn and grow with you this year!

About the lesson

As a tutor, I focus on creating a supportive, student-centered environment where learning is personalized and engaging. My teaching method blends direct instruction with inquiry-based learning, helping students build confidence and critical thinking skills. I use a combination of visual aids, guided practice, and real-world examples to make lessons meaningful.

I have experience working with diverse learners, including students with IEPs and English Language Learners, and I am committed to culturally responsive teaching practices.

My lessons are ideal for elementary and middle school students seeking support in reading, writing, social studies, and general study skills. Whether students need help building foundational skills or enhancing their academic writing and comprehension, I tailor each session to meet their individual goals.
