About Liora

I’m a singing tutor with over 4 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Choral Conducting with a Vocal Emphasis. My passion lies in helping singers prepare for professional recording sessions and understand the vocal demands of studio production. I work with R&B, Pop, Hip-Hop, and Electronic vocal styles, guiding students to find their unique sound in each genre. Whether you're layering harmonies or delivering a clean lead vocal, I’ll help you navigate it with confidence. My lessons focus on practical studio skills like microphone technique, breath control for takes, and using compression to your advantage. I also introduce students to the creative use of auto-tune, vocal effects, and working with producers in a collaborative, prepared way. Together, we’ll explore phrasing, timing, and tone so you can bring out the best in your voice during every recording. I’ve taught school students, emerging artists, and adult singers working toward their first commercial release. I meet each learner where they are and build from there. My goal is to help you develop both strong technique and comfort behind the mic. Let’s build your artistry and studio confidence, one track at a time.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is built around the power of ensemble singing and the joy of creating harmony with others. I focus on core skills for choral singers, including sight-reading, part-singing, and vocal blending. Whether you’re preparing for school choir, community ensembles, or professional vocal groups, I offer structured, engaging lessons that make group singing more confident and enjoyable.

We work on matching tone, phrasing, and vowel shape to help you blend seamlessly with others. I also introduce basic conducting cues and rehearsal etiquette so you feel prepared in any group setting. My lessons include exercises for ear training, rhythmic precision, and blending across dynamics.

I’m very good with The Orchestra Member and The Crossover Artist, and I support them in adapting their solo technique to choral environments. We’ll explore how to balance personal expression with the needs of the group. You'll gain confidence reading choral scores and understanding your part in the overall musical texture.

My methodology encourages a strong ensemble mindset while nurturing individual growth. Together, we’ll build musicianship, teamwork, and vocal precision. Become a valuable choir member with skills that uplift the whole group.
