About Kiaya
I am a college student at SAGU and I am an education major, studying to me an elementary english teacher. I have taken 2 AP english classes in high school and have been tutoring students in person for 3 years. I have history in daycares and camp counseling as well with a camp named Carolina Creek. I currently work as a student teacher at an elementary school named Wedgeworth Elementary in Texas. I am very good at what I do and aspire to help students grow and succeed in the classroom.

I use a very understanding technique. I like to establish relationship with the child and then using that relationship to help the child comprehend the assignment. A typical lesson plan would include a short mental and educational ice breaker, then flowing into what the child is either trying to learn or the specific assignment the student needs assistance with. After that, the student and I will look at their progress and close with questions by the student, if any. My sessions are to help guide young children and teens to academic success, and giving them the academic attention needed to thrive in the classroom.
