  • When did you first develop a passion for music and your favourite instrument?

I first developed a passion for music and my favorite instrument, the guitar, when I was 13 years old.
  • Is there a particular type of music or artist that you listen to on a loop without it driving you crazy?

To be fair, I simply adore music in all its forms, But I'm really into the classic vibe of rock and blues.
  • Explain to us the most difficult or riveting course you could personally give to a student of music.

I specialize in providing a comprehensive understanding of guitar playing that goes beyond the surface level. My most riveting course focuses on developing a solid grasp of fretboard knowledge, contemporary harmony, and ear training. Through personalized lessons and curated material, I'll guide you through each step of your musical journey.
  • What do you think is the most complicated instrument to master and why?

I believe the violin is one of the most challenging instruments to master due to its intricate ergonomics and technical demands.
  • What are your keys to success?

My keys to success lie in discipline, organization, optimism, and proactivity. I'm constantly driven by a thirst for knowledge and a passion for learning something new.
  • Name three musicians you dream of meeting in your favourite bar in the early hours of the morning. Explain why.

If I were to gather three musicians at my favorite bar in the early hours of the morning, Jimi Hendrix, Jonny Greenwood, and Randy Rhoads would undoubtedly be my top picks. Jimi Hendrix completely revolutionized our understanding and approach to the guitar. Jonny Greenwood, known for his contributions to the sound of Radiohead, is a true visionary whose experimental approach captivates me every time I listen to him. And then there's Randy Rhoads, whose exceptional technical skills and emotive playing have left an unforgettable mark on the world of heavy metal. Having these three musical legends gathered in one place would present an incredible opportunity to engage in deep conversations about music and life itself.
  • Provide a valuable anecdote related to music or your days at music school.

I don't have to think long to decide what was the best experience I had during my days at music school, as it was undoubtedly the day I met Allan Holdsworth. That's right, the jazz master and legend came to give a lecture at my university, but the story doesn't end there. The thing is, the slots for students who would have the privilege of being part of the masterclass were very limited, with priority given to the top students in advanced semesters. At that time, I was in my fourth semester of the program, so I knew I didn't have much of a chance of being selected. However, my desire to be part of the masterclass was so strong that I made an appointment with the institution's director in the hope of being considered. However, in a very courteous and respectful manner, the director informed me that it was beyond his control.

The day of the masterclass arrived, and although I was disappointed, I wasn't willing to go to my usual classes that day, so I went to the area where the masterclass would be held, and along with two other classmates in the same situation, we listened to more than half of the masterclass from outside. To be honest, it was a mix of emotions; I felt discouraged for not being inside the classroom, but nevertheless, the magic of his performance easily transcended the wall that stood between us.

Midway through his masterclass, when he took a brief break to catch his breath, a member of Allan's team mentioned that there were 3 students listening with their ears pressed against the door of the classroom, and he immediately requested that we be allowed to enter and make space for us. I couldn't believe it; Allan is an incredible person, an exceptional talent, but beyond that, an excellent human being. After the masterclass ended, on the way to his transportation, I was able to approach him and ask for a photo, and as we took the photo, he squeezed my shoulders tightly and said, "Keep going, my friend." To this day, I still can't believe it, and I am very grateful to him and to life for that experience
  • What are the little touches that make you a Superprof in music?

Back in the day, I experimented with various methods and instructors, but honestly, they just didn't seem to care much about me. I felt stuck for a long time and nearly gave up playing guitar altogether. I've experienced firsthand the struggle, but then I met this professor who genuinely cared about my progress. He was such a kind person (rest in peace), and he helped me overcome that feeling of frustration and improve. Now, I strive to be that kind of teacher-one who loves their job and aims to improve every day. I like to think that's what sets me apart as a Superprof-I genuinely care about my students' progress. I've developed a methodology using modern tools like Google Drive files to track every lesson meticulously and make the learning process enjoyable and fun!
