I’m a singing tutor with over 6 years of experience and a Licentiate of Music in Voice. I specialize in working with adult beginners, hobbyists, and those returning to singing after a break. My lessons create a low-pressure, encouraging space where you can learn comfortably and at your own pace. I focus on breathwork, vocal relaxation, posture, and mindfulness to help you develop a healthy, beautiful tone. Whether you’re drawn to Jazz, Folk, Blues, or Contemporary Adult styles, I tailor my teaching to suit your musical tastes and goals. My singing methodology is designed to help adult beginners and advanced teens discover their unique vocal identity while encouraging creative growth. We begin by focusing on vocal tone shaping, finding the natural sound that feels authentic and strong for each singer. Song interpretation and storytelling are at the heart of the lessons, teaching students how to connect emotionally with lyrics and bring music to life.
For adult beginners, we explore different genres gently, allowing them to find styles that resonate and build confidence. Advanced teens dive deeper into genre exploration and improvisation, expanding their creative range and performance skills. Both benefit from lyric analysis sheets that help break down songs and uncover their meaning.
Vocal journals encourage reflection on progress and creative goals. We use modern tools like DAWs for recording and playback, giving students the chance to hear their growth and experiment with harmonies. Melody trainers help improve pitch accuracy and musical agility.
This approach blends technical skill with artistry, helping singers grow in confidence and expression. It’s about more than hitting notes—it’s about telling your story through music. Each lesson is a step toward finding and sharing your unique voice with passion and creativity.
