I’m a singing tutor with over 7 years of experience and a Bachelor of Arts in Music with a voice emphasis. I provide personalised singing lessons tailored to students of all levels—from school-age beginners to college students and adult professionals. Whether you’re interested in classical, pop, movie, or folk singing, I can help you develop your unique voice. My lessons focus on essential skills like ear training, harmony, improvisation, and music theory, all designed to build your vocal confidence. I believe every voice is special and deserves to be nurtured with safe, healthy techniques. My teaching style is interactive and supportive, creating a positive space where you can grow and explore. My singing methodology focuses on vocal wellness, mindfulness, and long-term voice care, essential for both the Soloist in Training and the Church Ensemble Player. We begin each session with gentle warm-ups that prepare the voice without strain. Proper hydration and healthy vocal placement are emphasised to protect and sustain vocal strength over time. For the Soloist, I encourage balancing technical goals with mindfulness practices to reduce performance anxiety and foster joy in singing. The Church Ensemble Player learns to blend vocal care with spiritual connection, maintaining calm and presence during rehearsals and services. Both benefit from tracking their progress with vocal apps that monitor pitch and stamina. I also recommend mindfulness timers to build focused practice routines and guided breathwork tools to enhance breath control and relaxation. This approach nurtures not just the voice, but the whole singer. By prioritising wellness and calm, singers develop resilience and a lasting love for their craft. Singing becomes a joyful, healthy journey rather than a source of stress. Together, we create a positive space for growth and expression.
