Hey there! I'm an ELA tutor who loves to make learning fun and exciting. Here's how I help students like you:
Project-Based Learning (PBL)
We work on cool projects that connect to real life. For example, we might create a class newspaper or write letters to local leaders about issues you care about.
Social-Emotional Learning (SEL)
We talk about feelings and how to get along with others. This helps you become a better reader and writer too!

A Typical Lesson with Me
1. Warm-up: We start with a fun word game or quick writing prompt.
2. Skill Review: We go over something you've been working on, like finding the main idea or using strong verbs.
3. Main Lesson: We dive into a new topic using videos, discussions, or hands-on activities.
4. Practice Time: You get to try out what you've learned with a partner or small group.
5. Exit Ticket: At the end, you show what you've learned with a quick quiz or writing task.
