About Willem
I have an experiential Bachelor of Arts in Education at Pass Christian University.
My special skills include:

Relevant Work Experience:
From January 2005 to December 2008 I worked as the assistant pastor at Living Rivers Family Church (now His Church South Coast), Pennington, KZN. Duties included establishing and running the youth program, general maintenance and multimedia duties, as well as teaching in the local Christian School.
From March 2009 to July 2011 I worked for Aston English School, at various locations in China, teaching English as a second/foreign language to children of all school ages as well as adults.
From September 2011 to January 2015 I taught English at the South West University of Finance and Economics, Chengdu, Sichuan, China.
From September 2015 to July 2023 I taught English to students of many different Majors and levels at Jimei University, Xiamen, Fujian, China.

1. Based on complete language submersion (when we are learning English, I do not understand Afrikaans and vice versa).
