I am an experienced actor and tutor with a BA in Modern Drama from Brunel University and a Masters from The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. I have been working with and teaching drama to young people for over fifteen years, including time spent covering KS3, GCSE and A-Level Drama lessons in schools.

I work regularly with students of all ages, from age 6 - 18, teaching them a variety of drama practitioners, skills and techniques. I am an energetic and bouncy tutor who believes in treating every student as an individual and pushing them to their full potential. I also teach LAMDA and New Era exams and have 100% Distinction results. I often have students approach me for help with monologues, particularly for auditions or exams.

I have many students who have achieved places at Tring Park and other performance arts schools/colleges, as well as prestigious drama schools such as LAMDA, East 15, and Chichester. I always strive to find effective techniques for each student.

I am also a producer, director, published writer and theatre reviewer - all of which help influence my style and wider knowledge of the industry and subject. I also have a keen mind for literature and history and love working with students on improving reading skills, knowledge, structuring essays and analysis. I have a big, bold, bubbly energy and am an encouraging and empathetic teacher.

I've been doing 1 to 1 lessons with Carly for over 5 years and it's crazy to look back and see how much I've grown as a preformer because of it. They have such a wide range of skills and are able to teach them in such an engaging way including accents, vocal technique, exam practice, character intentions and various styles of preforming as well as lots of support with roles outside of lessons and many, many more useful skills. I could not reccomend these lessons enough to anyone wanting to broaden/develop their acting ability and gain a deeper understanding in a professional way with someone who is so supportive and passionate to pass on their extensive and brilliant knowledge.
