About Gloria
I am a singing tutor with 5 years of experience, holding a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance (Lieder/Art Song). I specialise in jazz and blues vocal improvisation, including scat singing, melodic embellishments, and harmony exploration. My approach balances technique, ear training, and theoretical understanding, allowing singers to develop a unique improvisational voice. Lessons are personalised to fit each student’s level, goals, and musical interests. I focus on building vocal strength, control, and expressive ability. Improvisation is taught in a way that feels natural, fun, and creatively liberating. Students also develop their performance skills and musical understanding through practical exercises. I emphasise connecting with the music and audience through confident, informed singing. Each session combines technical mastery with artistic exploration. I guide singers to explore their creativity while solidifying solid technique. Lessons are tailored, interactive, and inspiring. My goal is to nurture independent, expressive, and confident performers.

I teach singing with a focus on building healthy technique and vocal longevity. Breath control, diaphragmatic support, and stamina are central to my lessons. I provide exercises to help singers sustain notes and phrases with ease. Vocal health is a priority in every session. I work closely with The Suzuki Student and The Orchestra Member to target stability and consistency. Lessons also cover phrasing, tone quality, and musical expression. I emphasise step-by-step learning to ensure safe vocal development. Students gain control over breath, resonance, and dynamics. I provide practical drills to strengthen endurance and flexibility. Every session balances technical foundation with performance practice. Consistency and patience are key to growth. Students develop confidence and expressive freedom. My aim is to help singers perform longer, stronger, and healthier.
