As a tutor, my approach is centered on understanding and nurturing each student’s individual talents and learning style. I believe in creating a supportive, patient, and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable exploring their creativity and developing new skills. Whether teaching voice, art, sewing, or English, I aim to balance technical instruction with creative freedom, allowing my students to grow confidently and independently.
A Typical Lesson Plan
Introduction and Warm-Up:
In voice lessons:
Vocal exercises to warm up the voice and assess current vocal abilities. We will work on song interpretation, breath control, sight reading, and vocal techniques
In English: A brief grammar or reading comprehension exercise to gauge understanding. We work on grammar, reading, or writing depending on the student's needs.
In art, we focus on sketching, painting techniques, or sewing a new garment.
We dedicate time to practicing what was learned. For music, it could be performing a song. In English, it may involve reading aloud or writing a brief essay.
