As an English Language Arts tutor, I use a structured, supportive approach tailored to each student’s individual needs. My teaching methods include explicit instruction, modeling, guided practice, and text-based discussions that build reading comprehension, vocabulary, and writing skills. A typical lesson begins with a warm-up and review, followed by focused instruction using grade-level texts or writing tasks, and ends with independent practice and feedback. I specialize in supporting K–8 students, including those with dyslexia, ADHD, and other learning challenges. What sets me apart is my ability to create a safe, encouraging environment where students build confidence, take risks, and grow as readers and writers.
