About Nikki
First impressions are everything, so allow me to introduce myself! I'm Nikki, a third-year university student majoring in Human Rights, where writing is central to everything I do. English has always been my favourite subject and, not to brag, but throughout elementary and high school, I built a reputation for my strong essays and writing analysis. Now, I'd love to share this passion by helping elementary and high school students develop their English skills and find fun in education.
Every student is unique, so I tailor each lesson to meet your individual needs and goals. Whether you're working on grammar, enhancing reading comprehension, or mastering the art of essay writing, my approach combines structured guidance that prioritizes YOU. I strive to create a comfortable and motivating environment where you can build confidence, work at your own pace, and truly excel.
Studying liberal arts in university, I understand the importance of strong writing and critical thinking skills, and I'm excited to share what I've learned along the way. I can guarantee a friendly, encouraging approach that makes learning enjoyable and rewarding. I'm here to help elementary and high school students enhance their English abilities, whether they need foundational support or aim for advanced proficiency.
Besides English, I also speak Farsi, which can be especially helpful for newcomer Iranian students who might feel more comfortable learning with some Farsi language support. I’m here to make the transition to English as smooth as possible and to provide a welcoming space for Farsi-speaking students.

My tutoring approach is centred on meeting students halfway, understanding their unique strengths and challenges, and personalizing learning strategies accordingly. Creating a comfortable space with empathy is my priority, alongside teaching. My service is all about interactive learning to build confidence and foster a deep understanding of English language concepts. I place a strong emphasis on essay writing as a key skill, guiding students through the structure, style, and clarity needed to excel in school and beyond.
A typical lesson begins with a warm-up exercise, such as a quick reading or writing prompt, to gauge students' current level and get them thinking creatively. We then dive into the main focus area, whether it's grammar, essay planning, reading comprehension, etc. I incorporate real-world examples and encourage critical thinking through discussion and reflection. To solidify each lesson, I give tailored exercises for practice and finish with a recap to ensure the student leaves with a clear grasp of the day's topics.
My passion for writing and my track record for helping others excel in English sets me apart in the tutoring realm. On a personal note, I've helped many of my peers with language skills and essay formatting growing up, meaning I now offer guidance rooted in practical experience. My lessons are meant for elementary to high school students who want to improve their English skills, whether they need foundational support or are striving for advanced proficiency.
