About Nandini

About the lesson

I'm a French tutor with over 9 years of experience and a PhD in Quebecois Literature and Culture. My passion lies in bringing the French language to life for children aged 8 to 14 through performance-based learning. I specialise in using dramatic play, improvisation, and script reading to make lessons joyful, active, and engaging. Whether we're pretending to be chefs, travellers, or storybook characters, every session is designed to teach foundational vocabulary, pronunciation, and simple grammar in ways that feel natural and fun. I believe that play is a powerful tool for learning, especially when it’s paired with meaningful character development and storytelling. My classes often feel like stepping into a theatre where language becomes an adventure. Through guided scenes, role-play, and expressive dialogue, we explore how to express thoughts, feelings, and creativity in French. I tailor each lesson to your child’s interests and strengths, ensuring a safe, supportive space to take risks and shine. Mistakes are embraced as part of the performance journey. Over time, students begin to own the language as part of their personal expression.
