About Hazel

With over 10 years of experience, I specialise in teaching singing to college students, helping them develop their vocal skills and passion for music. My teaching style is based on clear communication, empathy, and flexibility, allowing me to cater to each student’s unique voice and learning needs. I believe in building a strong foundation of technique while encouraging creative expression and emotional connection through music. I use innovative methods that combine traditional vocal exercises with modern approaches, focusing on breath control, pitch accuracy, and vocal range expansion. I also incorporate elements of performance coaching, ensuring students not only improve their singing but also build confidence on stage. Whether you're preparing for a performance, aiming to improve your vocal technique, or simply exploring your voice, my goal is to provide a supportive and inspiring environment for growth. I’m committed to helping you unlock your full potential and develop a lasting love for singing.

About the lesson

I focus on creating a safe and open space where students can express themselves without judgement. I tailor each lesson to individual needs, adjusting the pace and style of learning based on each student’s comfort level and goals. I use clear, encouraging communication to ensure students understand the techniques being taught and feel supported throughout their journey. I respect each student’s unique background and approach to music, recognising the importance of cultural sensitivity in building confidence and connection. When teaching other subjects, I apply the same principles. I aim to make learning engaging and accessible, adapting to each student's needs and helping them feel empowered and confident. I believe in creating a positive, supportive environment where students can thrive and develop a genuine passion for learning.
