About Luz

I have over 10 years of experience as a singing tutor and hold a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Voice. I’m passionate about helping students build vocal confidence and overcome performance anxiety. My goal is to help you connect emotionally with every song you sing. I teach a variety of styles, including Pop, Indie, R\&B, and Contemporary Worship. I focus on breath control, expressive phrasing, and maintaining vocal health to keep your voice strong and flexible. Live performance coaching is a big part of my lessons, helping you feel comfortable and natural on stage. I work well with shy beginners, teen performers, and aspiring recording artists, tailoring each lesson to your unique needs. Whether you’re just starting or preparing for a big show, I’m here to guide and support you. I believe every voice is special and worth celebrating. Together, we’ll find your unique sound and help you enjoy the journey of musical self-expression. Singing is more than technique—it’s about sharing your story. About the lesson

My singing methodology is designed to help adult beginners and advanced teens discover their unique vocal identity while growing creatively. For adult beginners, the focus is on building a strong foundation in vocal tone shaping and breath control. Advanced teens work more on refining their tone and developing expressive skills. Both groups learn to interpret songs deeply, using storytelling to connect with their music and audience. Genre exploration plays a big role in my approach. Adult beginners gain confidence by trying different styles, finding what suits their voice best. Advanced teens are encouraged to experiment and improvise, expanding their creative range. I use tools like lyric analysis sheets to help students understand the meaning behind the words. Vocal journals track progress and personal reflections, making learning more intentional. Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs) and melody trainers are introduced to support practice and creativity outside lessons. These tools allow students to record, experiment, and develop their sound. The goal is to make singing both fun and meaningful. Every lesson is tailored to each person’s goals and abilities. I motivate students to express themselves fully and embrace their unique voice. Together, we build skills that go beyond singing — we build confidence and artistic freedom.
