About Bernita
I am a confident Teacher, I have been teaching reading in Dallas,TX schools for over 10 years. My focus is doing one on one teaching and small groups. I was inspired by mom, when I was growing up, she always read to me every day; as a result, I have a passion to teach other children. My goal is for all children to succeed in their academic programs at school and in life.

My approach is to use a reading test to assess your skills at the beginning. Based on your score, I will select books and prepare lesson plans based on your needs. I will do on-going testing to measure your improvement. Lastly ,lets have fun singing song and doing other activities while we are learning to read.
