About Guy
I started tutoring in December 2022, and so far, I've completed a language teaching course (teaching a language to foreign students) on another platform. Furthermore, I've continually developed my tutoring skills by improving from every class I gave. I've made presentations about specific grammar topics, bought a coursebook, created homework exercises and improved my didactic skills. I invite you to take a first (trial) lesson with me. We'll start by getting to know each other and we'll try to see if there is a match. I'll try to teach you something new right away and we'll discuss possible future lessons by the end of the class. If you live in Delft, I can give classes at your place. If you live anywhere else (you probably do), we can do classes through Google Meet or any other video calling service.

Hello, My name is Guy and I live in Delft, The Netherlands. I started tutoring on Preply in December 2022 and have learned a lot about tutoring since then. Apart from tutoring, I work as a journalist and text writer. I'm creative with language and I like to use that creativity during my classes. I like to give flexible classes in which the lessons are adjusted to the student's level, goals, and interests. I like to let the students speak as much as possible and through natural conversation about any topic the student is interested in. I have the book Dutch for Self-study of the (VU) Amsterdam University. I use the grammar section of this book for explaining grammar topics to my students. Apart from being a native Dutch speaker, I also speak English fluently, and some German, French and Spanish.
