About Elisha
I worked as a Writing Center tutor at Juniata College where I helped many students with a wide variety of assignments. I majored in Environmental Studies and Sociology, so I have a good bit of experience with scientific writing and research. I decided to join Superprof because I realized I missed tutoring. When I worked at the Writing Center in college I got to read papers from a wide variety of courses on a multitude of topics. I found it exciting to get to learn new ideas and see different perspectives. Writing is a great way to see how someone thinks, and being able to talk about complex issues with students is extremely fulfilling.

Ready to help with all parts of the writing process from beginning to end!
Specializing in High school and College writing, helping students to better understand a prompt and how to organize their essay is my forte. Additional focus on writing cover letters, research papers, and persuasive writing.
During a typical session, I ask students to bring in either a prompt from class or a draft of an assignment for us to review together. From there I work to meet the student where they are at in the writing process. I am happy to help edit as well based off the concerns of the student.
Often students struggle with knowing where to start for an assignment. I am used to working with students to analyze a prompt and make a clear road map for their assignments.
Additionally, I have experience editing and writing cover letters and college essays. Helping students market themselves professionally is a passion of mine.
