About Klaudia
Hello! My name is Klaudia and I will be a junior in high school taking Calculus BC in the upcoming fall. I have experience in teaching Algebra I and Algebra II and have strong math skills across the board. I participate in math team and enjoy learning independently on Harvard's EdX course and on Khan in my free time. In particular, I have experience working one-on-one with students who have disabilities or have fallen behind in their coursework at school. I am non-judgmental and patient with students, with the overall goal being to improve their math skills in a comfortable and effective way. If you are interested in more laid back and understanding tutoring sessions with someone who is closer to your age, I may be the fit for you!

If you are a middle or high school student interested in learning Algebra I or Algebra II in a calm, low-key, and steady paced environment, this is for you! I will never make you feel pressured or anxious and will be supportive in helping you grow as a math student. Even myself, I am not perfect and do things really casually! As for lesson plans, I am open to both giving practice problems or taking a look at things you need to get done. As for teaching techniques, it really depends on you! Some people are more visual learners, others learn verbally. I explain why, not just how to do math problems. I let students try something on their own, then jump in and explain if help is needed. If you are working on independent materials, I would greatly appreciate having it shared with me ahead of time so I can take a look before explaining it to you. Truthfully, we are both students and will get better as a team!
