About John
I have taught linguistics, academic writing and literary analysis for many years, including most exam boards, so I can help you make quick progress with exam technique and develop sustainable good habits that continue to grow your skills in English Language & Literature.
Aside from teaching, I also write all sorts of things including marketing articles about AI, plastics, and environmental emotions; songs and poems; and comedy sketches and jokes for BBC radio. Sometimes I interview people for the New Books Network (e.g., Brian Greene, Tony Nader, Sir Andrew Motion, Robin Ince). I'm from the UK, but I now live in Finland. Exotic!
