I am a friendly and passionate person who loves English. Although English and reading are something that I am passionate about I know that not everyone is as much a fan as me and that is totally okay. However, I have many tips and tricks that I can share so that you can achieve what you need to so that you can do something you enjoy doing in the future.

A typical lesson with me looks like an hour. I am adaptive and tailor my lessons for each student but my normal structure is: - Starter- basic knowledge recap -Introducing and teaching phase- new skill or concept introduced and modelled to the student -An example in practice -The opportunity for the students to write something for themselves -live feedback and improvement I have tutored since 2023 and have taught secondary English for 6 months. I am well versed in most GCSE texts and know how each exam board sets up their exam so I can make sure that your student has the correct information about each question. I have experience working with children with SEN and know how to adapt lessons for their special needs eg. chunking
