I am passionate about English language, linguistics and creative writing.
I have a first class degree in English language and linguistics from the University of Huddersfield (2012).
I also hold a PGCE with 60 credits at master's level and I graduated with ‘outstanding’ for my teaching component and attained an A* for the Master's level component, University of Huddersfield (2014).
I can help with an aspect of essay writing or final year dissertation support.
I can teach many aspects of linguistics from the ground up.
I can teach creative writing to the new writer or help develop your creative writing craft and technique at any stage of development.

Creative writing support in depth
I can edit submitted manuscripts for publication submission. In addition, I can teach creative writing skills craft and technique alongside the development of your manuscript.
Using my own curriculum I can scaffold the learner towards publication in a way that will translate either to your undergraduate course or independent study efforts in creative writing.
I can bolster any creative writing craft and technique you already posses or teach from the ground up with new learners.
If you are studying creative writing at university, I can teach you new craft and technique skills based on my own post graduate research in education, creative writing and linguistics as well as supporting you with whatever you are studying. I am happy to respond to your needs and be directed by you in the first instance and then scaffold you towards publication through feedback to your own creative writing submissions through feedback and personally tailored support.

I can give detailed notes on craft and technique skills within work submitted to myself and make those notes detailed, replicable and transparent pedagogically speaking so that my notes always tie in with what we have learned together and whatever you're studying at University undergraduate level.
