About Val
Hello! My name is Val and I am a 17-year-old who about to graduate Newbury Park High School in its most advanced program. When I was young I had issues understanding certain concepts, as people around me didn't understand that different individuals have different ways that they are able to learn. My mission is to make studying and learning more effective for you or your child by utilizing the material I have gathered from my advanced-level classes. I seek to utilize my professional 2-year experience in childcare to enhance your child’s understating of concepts rather than memorization. I don’t have any restrictions for who I teach, In fact, I can help people with ADHD or ASD find that study method works best for them!

- I am friendly and outgoing and I will focus on teaching concepts with metaphors and related topics rather than force to memorize.
-My punctuality is a strength and my flexibility with timing is a benefit.
-Due to my age (17) I will be able to connect more with you or your child and understand the unique point of view that students have currently
-Timing of sessions can be anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours, I can teach a variety of study methods and enhance vocabulary in an effective manner.
-Before starting to work with anyone I will thoroughly review the study materials and homework in order to properly asses skills and for my lessons to be more effective
