About Kate
Hi there! I am an enthusiastic, well-mannered tutor with strong academic and practical capability. I am from the North of England, moving to London last year. My father is an outstanding A Level Chemistry teacher who is also a teacher training mentor. Personally, I have achieved consistently high grades in a diverse range of subjects and I simply love learning! My personal style of study is efficient but encompasses my love of reading. When building a plan for a student's individual goal attainment plan, I will always take the pupil's preferred learning methods into account and adapt all my existing technique to their needs, in addition to continually developing new strategies and exercises. I believe in ensuring the learning process is as stress-free as possible and in teaching for permanent retention, so that lessons learned can be accessed and applied for the future of the client. As opposed to simply tricking the memory into holding information just long enough for a particular exam. I aim for my teaching to be consistently enjoyable and valuable whilst building on student's confidence and passion for their studies.
