About Μαρία
I studied a degree in psychology at the University of Crete, in Greece. I continued my postgraduate studies in the master's degree in neurosciences, at the Erasmus University of Rotterdam, in the Netherlands. The last 4 and a half years I live in Querétaro, where I am studying a PhD in Biomedical Sciences at the UNAM-Campus Juriquilla. In Greece, I taught modern Greek classes to migrants and refugees, trying, in that way, to support their situation and help them to integrate more easily into Greek culture. In Mexico I have taught English and other subjects in private high schools.

My method is focused on oral communication, since it is the natural way of learning a language. Listening and speaking is the most important thing for you to immerse yourself in the culture and release the language. Of course, it follows the grammar and syntax part, which forms the basis of speaking appropriately. All this, is rounded and applied through cultural classes (songs, traditional dances, Greek cuisine, literature, history, art, etc.), according to the specific interests of the students.
