About Rodd
Around 1998, while looking for temporary work (my normal job of being a makeup artist was on and off), I took a brief job teaching reading comprehension skills. Though I had never done such work before, I noticed immediately that I was having a great time, and that my students were learning and enjoying themselves, as well! I absolutely know that the joy of reading and writing can be taught.

It really all started when my mother read bedtime stories to me when I was a small child. At a very early age, hearing these stories helped me learn a sense of morality. I remember being very small and struggling with spelling words at first. But words were to become a great passion that satisfies me still.
