About Katherine
I have a love for teaching, but I especially love to learn, so as much as I would be teaching, I love to hear others opinions and interpretations of literature.
Some of my favourite novels include Tess of the d’Urbervilles by Thomas Hardy, To The Lighthouse by Virginia Woolf, The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde and The Lord of the Rings Trilogy by J.R.R. Tolkien.
I am a big fan of feminist novels and literature that holds a mirror to our society, as I find them to be the most thought provoking and insightful.

I am friendly and supportive, and always strive to make my lessons as fun and interactive as possible to help the learning process. I aim to be as informative as possible without inciting burn-out, as I know this can be a struggle for some students. I tend to be rather fast-paced, but I am always willing to repeat subject matter to ensure my teaching is effective.
