About Em
I have assisted students of varied ages, learning styles, and neurodivergence in numerous subjects, but especially English and Social Studies. I tutored with AOC's Homework Helpers program in 2020-2021 and tutor privately now. I have also been a music instructor since 2014. I was Director of Communications for an arts non-profit, am an essayist and poet, build literacy tools online in languages I have contributed linguistic research in, and am passionate about written arts and communication.

I have worked with a variety of instructors and students, understanding and absorbing countless teaching methods and conversational strategies to develop an approach that will work best for you! I am very flexible and will adjust as needed, whether based on your feedback or my observations.
I am happy to work with people at any stage in education, but especially focused in high school/collegiate writing.
