About Aurélien

I am a third year French Linguistics student at the University of Edinburgh who is willing to teach French to enthusiastic and friendly people. I am a joyful and rigorous person who loves to build new connections with other people and to share moments with them. I have previously taught French to high school students (14-17) that were on a school exchange in France. These lessons were a great way for them to better fit in their new environment as it could a bit intimidating at first to arrive in a country where you don't speak a word of the language.

About the lesson

I will be offering tutorials that could either take the form of an academic class (French Language classes, review of French literature, etc.) or take the form of diverse French-taught activities such as cooking, etc. (you are more than welcome to suggest other fun activities that will be French-taught and adapted to suit your own level). I will therefore adapt our tutorials to your level as to make sure that you learn French in the best way possible. I will be using textbook if needed and, ideally, the first tutorial will be an opportunity for us to talk about what you expect from these tutorials and what level you want to achieve by the end of our tutorials. The tutorials will be 1-hour or 2-hour long and are best suited to people that are 16 and above. Students can be complete beginners but can also be advanced learners that want to improve their French pronunciation and that want to broaden their knowledge of the French culture.
