About Diontrell
Hi everybody, my name is Diontrell--or, Trell/e for short. I am a tutor, literacy support specialist, former student and life learner. I love nature, my family, reading, writing, psychology, my favorite lawyer/detective shows and the like.
I recently graduated from LSU with a Communication Studies degree with special emphases in Mass Communication - Journalism, Creative Writing, and Psychology. [I know, it seems like a lot! What can I say? I have several interests.]
I've also worked as a PR specialist, creative consultant, and production assistant at the local theater. I've acted in plays, and published, and performed some of my works (poetry, screenwriting, prose, etc.) and had a grand, nerve-wracking time while doing it!
Additionally, I've been a guest instructor of Communication Studies at LSU and have served as a content creator, proofreader, resume editor, English tutor, and even elementary Math, and social sciences helper.
I enjoy getting to know people [our ins and outs] and figuring out how to better connect people with people and people with knowledge. because knowledge is a beautiful thing!
I look forward to helping both the youth and adults alike!
In the fall of this year, I will serve as a Literacy Specialist with the Americorps and look forward to working with students both in-person and online!

I'm interested in meeting you where you're at and going from there. I've served as a Psychology tutor and student support services specialist during college. There, I've learned the importance of the study cycle, the value of having regularly scheduled sessions, and a good peer-tutor bond. One that I hope to have with you!
I offer proofreading services, and aid in literacy development, essay formation/writing, creative writing, vocabulary retention/utilization, and more.
