About Ritika

I’m a Business English teacher with a strong foundation in both academia and the corporate world. From 2019 to 2020, I taught Business English to over 200 Master’s students (1st and 2nd year) in France, delivering more than 400 hours of in-class instruction. I also led over 45 conversation sessions in smaller, interactive groups to help students build fluency and confidence. Before that, in 2018–2019, I worked as an English Language Assistant at a middle and high school in France. There, I worked with approximately 240 students aged 14 to 20, focusing on conversational English and exploring specific topics in more depth to enhance their language skills. Prior to transitioning into education, I spent over 11 years working in finance and accounting as a Chartered Accountant, including extensive experience at a multinational corporation in India. While I enjoyed my corporate career, I felt drawn to a more people-focused profession—one where I could make a meaningful difference. Teaching English has allowed me to combine my professional background with my passion for communication, culture, and personal growth. Since 2018, I’ve been dedicated to helping students and professionals improve their English, and I truly enjoy the rewarding experience of supporting learners on their journey.

About the lesson

With a unique blend of corporate and academic experience, I offer Business English lessons that go beyond the textbook. As a Chartered Accountant with over 15 years of experience in corporate finance at a multinational company in India, and having taught Business English at the university level in France, I bring a real-world perspective to language learning.

At the university, I taught Business English to over 200 management students, delivering more than 400 hours of in-class instruction. Additionally, I have experience teaching general English at middle and high schools in France, having taught more than 250 students for over 280 hours.
