About Jude
I’m a passionate French tutor with over 4 years of experience helping young learners discover the joy of language. I hold a Bachelor of Applied Languages (French) in education, and I specialize in teaching children aged 5 to 12. My teaching style is playful, creative, and rooted in making each session fun and meaningful. I use interactive storytelling, songs, games, and movement-based activities to spark interest and keep children engaged. Through these methods, kids absorb foundational vocabulary, pronunciation, and simple grammar without feeling overwhelmed. I believe that learning French should feel like an exciting adventure, not a chore. My lessons are filled with laughter, imagination, and hands-on learning. I love seeing children light up when they recognize a word or sing along confidently in French. My strength lies in making the language stick—whether through catchy songs or silly stories that stay with them long after class ends. Every child learns differently, and I always adapt to their pace and interests. Above all, I aim to nurture curiosity, confidence, and a lasting love for French in every young learner I teach.

My approach to teaching French is student-centered and goal-oriented. I create a friendly and structured learning environment where students feel confident and motivated to learn. Whether you're just starting out or aiming to improve, I adapt lessons to suit your pace and level.
I support students in speaking, reading, writing, and listening with clarity and fluency. I also focus on vocabulary-building, grammar practice, and pronunciation drills to build a strong language foundation. For school support, I help students with homework, projects, and class lessons so they stay ahead in their curriculum.
For exam preparation, I use past papers, mock tests, and practice questions. I also teach smart memory techniques, like word associations and flashcards, to help with retention. I guide students in managing their time, handling pressure, and using test-taking strategies effectively.
I’ve worked with learners who are reconnecting with their roots or preparing for travel, helping them feel more connected and confident using the language in real-life situations. My goal is not just to teach, but to help each student fall in love with learning French and succeed academically.
