About Will
I am currently a McMaster undergrad, with 12 full years of school behind me. I've done well in my English classes, and have won an award or two in my time (e.g. first place in a a fifth grade essay writing competition).
But enough of that. Anyone can get good enough grades if they know what they're doing, and they're smart about it. Schooling as it is tends to be robotic and repetitive.
Me, I'm here to teach you to know what you're doing. I'm here to teach you how to be smart about it, and how to be efficient with what you do. That's my style of English teaching. I might not have a million qualifications, but I know what it's like to be a student, and I know your pain. And I'll show you the tricks and tips that I wish I knew.

Lessons are for all ages from Grades One to 12. Can teach textbook style, but more "modern" techniques such as Youtube and storytelling are also on the table. Will adapt according to client needs and learning style. And unlike other tutors, I won't insert any fluff - I'll teach you what you need to know, when you need to know it. No gimmicks and no tricks. Lesson plans for me are usually improvised - flexibility is key.
