About Vera

With over eight years of experience as a singing tutor and a Bachelor of Music in Classical Voice, I approach vocal training as a holistic and empowering journey. My teaching blends physical alignment, breath awareness, and vocal expression to support each singer's unique growth. I integrate yoga-inspired warmups, body mapping, and gentle tension-release techniques to foster ease and freedom in the voice. These tools help students become more attuned to how their body supports sound. We work not only on technique, but also on presence, balance, and confidence. My love for World Music, Chanting, Folk Fusion, and Healing Sound brings a global and soulful dimension to lessons. Whether a student is seeking performance readiness or inner connection, I tailor my approach to match their goals. Together, we explore the voice as both instrument and expression. I believe singing is not just a skill, but a path to well-being, resilience, and creative freedom. Every voice holds potential—my joy is helping others uncover it.

About the lesson

My teaching methodology centres on unlocking each singer’s unique tone colour while building a strong technical foundation. Lessons are designed to explore and refine vocal identity through genre adaptation and expressive nuance. From belting safely to transitioning smoothly between registers, students gain tools to navigate vocal challenges with confidence. We dive into the textures of musical theatre, the intimacy of indie, and beyond—always balancing emotional connection with technical clarity. Technique is taught not as restriction, but as a framework that empowers artistic freedom. I help students develop contrast and character in their singing, shaping performances that are both dynamic and authentic. For those pursuing high-level goals or structured growth, we set intentional milestones and strengthen performance stamina and stylistic range. Others who crave creativity and emotional depth find space to experiment and discover their voice through guided exploration. Each student’s journey is unique, and I adapt the pace and focus accordingly. We work with breath, resonance, and phrasing to expand vocal expression, while keeping vocal health central. Improvisation, lyric interpretation, and genre-specific stylings are woven in, encouraging a well-rounded and flexible voice. The goal is a balanced artistry—where technical diversity meets personal storytelling.
