About Ashley
Hi! My name is Ashley and I love teaching students and encouraging them to grow academically. I have experience in the classroom as a first grade teacher and I also provided one on one tutoring for my students who needed extra help in reading, spelling, and mathematics. I developed my own stories and curriculum for an English class I taught to adults who wanted to learn English and saw them go from not being able to speak any English to being able to read books in English! I am a patient and dedicated teacher willing to help you achieve your language goals, and I look forward to meeting your soon!

I use innovative and creative teaching methods to help grade school students, namely 1st grade - 5th grade achieve your language goals, whether that's learning how to speak better English, learning how to read smoothly, learning how to spell... I'm here for it all! Phonics is the basics of the language and once you learn how to put sounds and letters together, you'll be well on your way to reading anything! I also help with writing and grade school mathematics.
