About Lucia

I am a vocal coach with a BM in Jazz Vocal Performance and more than 5 years of experience teaching singers at every level. My passion is musical theater and Broadway training, where storytelling and strong technique meet. Lessons with me focus on belt strength, agility for quick changes, and commanding stage presence. I enjoy guiding everyone from beginners to professional performers. Each lesson is personalized and built around safe vocal techniques that encourage lasting growth. I also offer ear training, harmony, improvisation, and music theory to give students a complete foundation. Confidence-building is central to my approach—I want my students to feel ready for any performance. I create interactive, supportive lessons that allow space for experimentation. I love helping singers develop both power and subtlety in their voices. Character acting through song is another area I emphasize, teaching how to bring stories to life. About the lesson

My teaching method is designed to help singers connect their ear to their voice for accurate, confident singing. I focus on ear training as the foundation, using exercises in harmonizing, intervals, and pitch development. These skills support both solo and group singing. I believe singing should be expressive but also disciplined. My lessons are interactive, structured, and adapted to each student’s needs. Advanced teens thrive with this approach, as it helps them polish technique and performance. Quartet players find it especially useful for tuning and blending with others. I provide consistent feedback that makes progress clear and achievable. Safe vocal technique is always reinforced to keep voices healthy. Confidence is built gradually, one successful step at a time. I encourage curiosity while ensuring solid fundamentals. Singing becomes both easier and more enjoyable when the ear leads the way. Through this method, students develop skill, expression, and confidence. I support them fully in excelling as performers and musicians.
